Megafun, the largest roofed entertainment centre in Europe, was opened in 2012 in the Azure complex of buildings. A year later the entertainment centre doubled its premises and currently occupies three storeys. Today, the total area of the expanded Megafun accounts for 30,000 sq.m. and includes 17 sectors. The entertainment centre has over 200 amusement rides, slot machines, an ice rink, the largest bowling alley in Baku (14 lanes for adults, 2 lanes for children), 4D, 5D, 6D cinemas, laser games, a tunnel of fear, bumper cars, a “Magic Jungle” mirror maze and Dino Park – the magic world for children with seven big dinosaur monsters.


Baku Karting and Event Centre, the largest roofed karting arena in the Caucasus, has been open since 2010 for drive and speed fans. The Centre includes a 4,000sqm track with a 500 m. long special asphalt coat. The cart park features carts of the German Rimo company and the Rich Club and Lounge for 200 guests. Paintballing is one of new leisure activities that has recently gained popularity in Baku. The weapon in this game is a marker with compressed air flow and bullets of harmless paint balls, with oil or gelatin. This game is great to relieve stress and tension. Paintballing combines fun and entertainment, and shows team spirit and leadership skills, irrespective of age, gender, or physical training.

Kite Surfing

If you enjoy water sports, you should visit Blue Planet Kite Beach in the Shuraabad settlement of the Khizi district near Baku. The centre offers kite surfing skills courses both for beginners and professionals, provided on both a group and individual basis. You can of course buy or rent a kite, surfboard and all the necessary accessories. Once you’ve exhausted yourself on the waves, you can visit the beach club and restaurant known for its delicious cuisine.
